Why do barndominiums ECHO? Really, ANY open concept floor plan with NO CARPET will have some sort of echo and insulation in the walls does NOT stop it.
How do you stop echo in a house? Introducing the acoustic wall! We are adding a wooden slat acoustic wall to one of the TALLEST walls in our house and it will double as a visual focal point.

We also show how our pocket doors are attached and start in on our HARDWOOD pre-finished plank flooring by framing out the basement stairwell.
Next week we will FINISH the acoustic wall (almost, it won't have the LED lighting yet).
