As farmers we pray for rain all growing season but once the crop is ready for harvest we no longer need it. In order to safely store crops the moisture content must be below 14% and after every rain the grain inside the wheat head absorbs moisture pushing this moisture level higher. We must then wait for wind and sunshine to dry the crops back to an acceptable level.
