Once the peas are planted we must roll them to mash rocks down low for headers during harvest. Then we spray them with a pre-emergent herbicide that needs water to activate. We cannot spray once the peas have sprouted so our time is limited. Also being activated by rain, we must be timely with our spray when precipitation is in the forecast. Just keep swimming just keep swimming!
