Some may ask why we tore up the old concrete pads. The reason for this is they were not formed with rebar and riddled with huge cracks and heaving. We had no choice but to start over again. With hopper bottoms we can avoid a giant pad underneath and cleanup is much simpler. Only downside is they are expensive.
