Spaldings are one of the biggest manufacturers and suppliers of ag and ground care spare parts and machinery in the UK and Europe. In early August I was shown around their base in Lincoln. I was hugely impressed by everything I saw.

Part 1 is about the history of the 65 year old company, looking at the sales counter for local farmers, telesales, marketing department and the huge number of lines of racking in the warehouse, how products are picked and packed, importance of customer satisfaction and quality control. And how new products from other machinery manufacturers are replicated.
