Rats and mice are moving about around the yard and buildings so a new company has come in to deal with vermin control. Fen Farm Pest Control are a local company and long standing family friends so it makes sense to use them. Richard Ellington and his manager, also Richard go through the first visit which is setting up the bait stations and what’s involved.

I had run out of cartridges for my Beretta 20 gauge shotgun and there is a new Country store opened near me. Again, family friends at nearby Ancaster Leisure are selling cartridges, clothing, guns and virtually anything to do with country sports. I’m shown around the shop by the manager Mark and Richard Johnson the owner then shows me the new rifle range and everything they do at Ancaster Leisure.

I load some barley which should have been for malting but failed the grade so had to go as feed.

We’re still having issues with hare coursers and fly tipping so I block up some field entrances with Conrete tyres.
