Today Richard is coming to kill the heifers and take them away to process them for us to eat.
This is the process we go through every year to supply our selves with meat to eat, the animals were shot with a rifle humanely.

Hey I’m Andrew The Once A Day Farmer, I farm alongside my father on my family dairy farm in New Zealand.
Our Dairy system is quite unique as we only milk our 320 jersey cows 'Once A Day' (hence the name) only in the morning, and they stay outside on grass for 365 days of the year!!
