A day of arable farming centred around Beet today - we’re getting right to the end of the last crop with only 20 acres left.

We’ve got 5 tractors and trailers on hauling - including myself in a 6R250 and Rolland trailer. We’ve got dad and Lucais (on his big return) in two other 250s and Andrew and Harry in two 8R370s.

One small issue with the harvester is fixed with the mobile welder by Steve - a proper in the field fix to keep us going!

Whilst we’re getting through the last of the beet we have Ant in the JCB Fastrac 8330 icon and Pichon slurry tanker tanking and spreading digestate all day onto fields before cultivation for this years maize crop.
