The tyre on the Pichon slurry tanker is fitted to the rim and then replaced first thing this morning in a joint effort as the tyre wall wasn’t the easiest to get sealed to the bead.
Ant then took the tanker and JCB Fastrac to fill the Cross Engineering Beet chopper with water to get a few loads of beet washed.
Steve, Tony, Harry and Will H wash beet using the John Deere 6R250s and Rolland trailers while Ant in the Fastrac again stirs the digestate lagoon to break up the crust.

Through the day some maintenance is done on the sprayer with some rear marker lights changed, and the new John Deere 8R370 gets a few modifications to its steps, wing mirrors and toolbox.

Both Will and my (Tom) car are over at local mechanic Luke Bradford’s garage for brakes and for an issue with some concerning debris I’d picked up in my tyre!
