The fleet of John Deere tractors and the 9700 forager have a slow couple of days in terms of harvest! The weather and regular showers of heavy rain are leaving us unable to make a dent in the maize acreage!

We manage to check out Pickards maize trial, check on the state of play with our own maize and also get some important maintenance jobs done - trailer checks and the long awaited repair on the Pichon dung spreader’s chain floor.

Throughout the last couple of days the Shelbourne Reynolds hedge trimmer has been kept busy by Flyn in his John Deere 6R250 as he is working on both field and road hedges.
