The day starts out checking on the maize crop and some of the winter wheat crop - checking on the weed control and the potential harvest date of wheat. We meet one of our agronomists as Fergus talks us through what he’s looking for.

Back in the yard: Steve, Tony and Will H are on header maintenance replacing worn/ broken parts on the 735D header for the John Deere S790 combine harvester.

Harry and Andrew help Jordan from Smallridge’s to replace some cab mounts on a 6R250.

We head off to watch Ant in the JCB Fastrac 8330 iCON and Samson tanker to check how the tanker is behaving after issues yesterday. He is tanking digestate on grass ground from the local ad plant.
