Monday starts with the final wheat grain dried for a local customer after Steve cut it last week/ over the weekend.

We tip the last couple of loads into the bunker and then Will and Andrew run it through the dryer before hauling back to farm.

We then catch up with Steve in the John Deere S790i combine harvester as he harvests some Skyfall Winter Wheat. Yields are down on what we have harvested so far this season but we crack on with cutting it.
John Deere 6R250s and 8R370s are on trailers hauling back to the grain store.

Thunderstorms and rain clouds close in but Steve keeps the combine going until the weather calls a hault. Not the heatwave we were promised!
