A day of harvesting wheat for wholecrop, and Oil Seed Rape is combined.

The John Deere 9700i forager is back in action finishing the wheat harvest from yesterday, a small issue with a bearing is quickly resolved and we’re getting through it quickly. 2 John Deere 6R250s on trailers - along with the farmers little tipper van! Why not when he’s heading back to the farm!

Later in the day Ant heads out in the JCB Fastrac 8330 and rake 25 acres of grass for the same farm once wholecrop is complete.

Tony is on the buck rake tractor all day keeping the crop well rolled and compacted.

While the forager is getting through wheat, the John Deere S790 combine harvester is out in Oil Seed Rape for the start of the 95 acre block we have to harvest. We watch Steve work through the headland and then fit the rape knife on to the draper header to help cut through the crop.
