A 2 day arable farming video from down in Devon today, Monday was a mixture of a quieter day plus a much needed catch up day for me in the office so I couldn’t get around much!

Despite that we catch up with the maintenance going on in the workshop as a John Deere 6R250 is getting its brakes changed (our 4th 250 that has needed this doing).

We move into Tuesday to catch up with the maize harvest as it continues and we’re very nearly at the end of it!
We’re into our final 100 acres of our own maize as will cuts through the crop with the John Deere 9700 and the fleet of John Deere tractors (and one JCB Fastrac) haul the crop back to the silage clamp.

Steve is on the AD plants’ silage clamp buck raking and rolling the crop with his John Deere 8R410.

Work starts on developing some workwear for our staff as well as potentially some merch to sell as well! Keep your eyes peeled!
