With the recent news from the USDA which allows us to hay/graze cover crops on Sept. 1st we changed our plans and started planting sorghum, and a healthy amount of it, because we chop our sorghum for silage to feed our cows/calves. The field we wanted to plant sorghum in was weedy so first with fertilized it, then tilled, then planted. After that I went over to another field that we planted the day before and I fertilized that too.
Enjoy!
