What's up, everyone! Today, we’re back on the farm with a brand-new addition—a small New Holland tractor that we just picked up from town! 🚜 We’re unloading it carefully (because last time, let’s just say things got a little too exciting), and adding it to our lineup of pipe trailer tractors to help with irrigation work this season.

Along with the tractor, we also got our hands on two Black Venom box scrapers, and these things are built like tanks! 💪 They’ve got a scraper blade on the front and back, allowing for both pushing and pulling. After hooking one up, we took it for a test run, and it’s doing an incredible job smoothing out some of the rough terrain, even on rock-hard, dry ground. We’ll be using them to clean out the potato cellar and level out ruts, especially after dealing with a breakdown in one of the pilers. So far, they’re passing the test with flying colors!

❄️ Weather Update: Just when we thought we were going to start planting and hauling manure, Mother Nature threw us a curveball—SNOW. ❄️ Yep, we went from dry, ready-to-go fields to freezing temps overnight. The high today is 35°F, but by next week, we’re supposed to hit 70°F, so we’re hoping to get back on track soon!

🔧 Fixing Equipment: We’re also wrapping up repairs on our manure trucks before the season kicks off. One of them had a broken back door, so we’re welding it back together and reinforcing it with extra metal for durability. With all the bouncing around in the fields, things tend to wear out quickly, so it’s important to keep everything in top shape before we get too busy. We also had a little scare in the shop when our furnace decided to go BOOM, burning Josh’s arm a bit. Luckily, he’s okay, and we’ve got it all under control.

🚜 More Farm Projects:
✔️ Hooking up the grain drill and putting duels on the tractor to get ready for wheat planting.
✔️ Picking up 26 new ATV tires to mount—our farm four-wheelers go through tires like crazy!
✔️ Getting a new four-wheeler for our H-2A worker who will be arriving soon to help with irrigation.

We also pulled in a manure truck that we got at an auction. It’s seen better days—the power steering doesn’t work, the shifter forks are worn out, and there’s a giant 2’ x 2’ hole in the side of the manure bed. We’ll see if we can get it running again as a backup truck.

🥔 Potato Storage Update:
Before wrapping up the video, we took a quick look inside the potato cellar to check on how many potatoes we’ve hauled out and how much is still left. The good news? We’re making progress. The bad news? There’s still a lot to move! But at least the box scraper did an awesome job smoothing out the gravel, making it easier to move equipment in and out.
