Preparation for the season continues as we lift the sprayers to change tyres and make sure everything is ready for the workload ahead. Alongside machinery maintenance, we review tissue analysis results to better understand crop performance and nutrient uptake as the season progresses.
There are several updates across the yard, including repairs to the Hilux, progress on James’ pool refurbishment, and calibration work in the grainstore to ensure accurate measurements moving forward.
We also confirm a new Horsch Avatar 18m is on order, while discussing other equipment options including a Horsch Finer and front tank setup. Fertiliser scorch is assessed in the crops as we continue monitoring field conditions closely.
A busy mix of machinery preparation, agronomy insights and planning as the farm gears up for the next phase of the season.
