This week we finally got our Fendt 1165 safely out of the field and onto a lorry – the first big step towards getting it back to work. While the dry summer continues, we’re keeping momentum across the farm with plenty going on.

Inside the spray shed there’s more behind-the-scenes prep, while James now has Starlink internet in his car (game changer for farm connectivity!). The Range Rover repair is complete, the Fendt 942 is out mowing, and the yard is being graded ready for more concrete.

Along the way we also reflect on the bigger picture of farming today and take a moment to remember Robert Patmore, a respected voice in the industry.
