In today's video we load the biomass boiler on the farm! The boiler is a very important part of the farm at this time of year because it heats the farm house and all the houses on the farm! The boiler burns bi product wood in the form of chip, and then feeds it through the auger system. Once fed through it's burned and release a low carbon pine steam. The Manitou on the farm has become very handy for carrying out this task. At the end of the day Ripon Farm Services arrive to pickup the replacement loader! And we manage to get it loaded with the Manitou, it was a nerve racking experience but we got it done! At the end of today's video we touch on the low carbon 10 year plan for the farm, and ask the audience about any potential ideas for reducing the farms carbon footprint going into the future. Enjoy!
