Since we can no longer spread manure in the winter months, we take advantage of the time that we can. Hauled all day today, and disked it in with the 9330 after to conserve important elements like nitrogen, which is essential to growing corn.
The manure in the barn yard just started to thaw so it was definitely time to clean that out. Now the dry cows can go outside AND stay clean while soaking up the sun. We stay on a routine of doing this at least once a month while we're able to spread.
