This week we are making hay, the Finnegan way. It doesn't matter what modern tractors or big machines the lads have on the farm. Every year they like to go back to their roots, keep it simple and take the aul ladies out for a spin....it's a family tradition!

You don't understand hard work until you have spent a Summer making hay. Tossing, Turning, Rowing, Baling, Stacking and drawing hay. Great memories of all the good men gone before us....the one's that would load bale after bale using a pitchfork or tie a trailer load of hay using the hay man's knot...great traditions which need to be kept alive!

Jimmy Donohue and Dennis Procter showcase their Acrusin Multi pack D14 machine which shows us how far the art of stacking hay has come over the years. Stacking 14 bales without breaking a sweat or a blister in sight! Now that's the job lads! Best of luck with it!
