As for harvest on the farm, we're done with peas, lentils, and durum and now on to CANOLA HARVEST!! With the heat and wind, a big fire erupts in the area and we are 'en route.' Also, an update on Iowa relief efforts and how you've all played a big role!
So, with that said...
...a GIGANTIC, HUMONGOUS, SHOUTED-AT-THE-TOP-OF-OUR-LUNGS "THANK YOU" to all of you that donated to the non-profit organization, Steppin' Out Missions, for their efforts in aiding the residents of Iowa that were affected by the derecho back on August 10th, 2020.
Tony's initial goal was to raise $7,500 for them, and then he'd shave his beard. In the first couple days, $7,700 was raised, so stay tuned for the beard shaving SOON!
But, even more amazing, was as Nick Welker jumped on board, we raised just over $22,300 (as of 7am on 8-29-2020)!
UNBELIEVABLE!!!
We're thrilled to have had so many of you jump on board to help Steppin' Out Missions help the folks in Iowa!
God is good and so present in the midst of this all!!!
