In today's episode of farming life at La Forge, we are getting ready to put some more cattle out to grass so I am checking fences and dad will be spraying the cattle for lice and ticks with the sprayer he made last year on the back of the Ford 7000. Mam and Dad head off to view a tractor Dad has always wanted, a Ford 5095. They end up buying it and bring it back with the Ifor Williams trailer and the Hilux pick-up. Then dad takes the cab off it and brings it for a test drive.
Finally as we reach the end of calving season, we have a heifer who has trouble calving. One of the calfs legs has gone down and is cought, so we need to help her and pull the calf. Thankfully both Cow and calf are okay and in good health.
