In today's episode of farming life at la forge, everything goes wrong... scanning the cows and goats an entire pen of cows are not in calf, we have a cow that did the splits and is now injured and can't get up. She also had the last Belgian blue calf on the farm that will now have to bottle fed. As for the herd test, there are new rules this year in France. During the testing, the vet almost got a few bad kicks from the cows, and Dad got a bad puck into the knee from a cow with a stump of her horn. It's been a tough few days.
