In todays video the first of this years calves are being weaned from the automatic feeder and the calves get a shock as weaning 2023 begins. We set up an electric fence on the lawn to teach the calves about the fence before they are fully weaned and go off to fields with fences to be obeyed! Then we go through the calves being weaned and body condition score them to make sure they're doing ok - we use Herdwatch app to do this to keep a record of everything.
