In today’s video we attempt to min till reseed a 3 acre filed but we get rained off twice while at it so it took us nearly 3 weeks to do it. We harrowed the ground into a fine seedbed and sowed the grass with our new spring time grass Harrow which done a lovely job. We used Liffey Mills Gold sward - dual purpose mix for grazing and silage. Contains Abergain and Aberchoice, 2 of the top varieties in the PPI list, they are a tried and tested partnership that have been used together to achieve high DM swards up on 13/14 Ton a year on well managed farms. Also contains a pelleted clover- the pellet improves the clovers growth early on to help it get established.
