This will be the third year in a row that I've grown these salad greens in the winter. I love them. It's also great to have a little fresh salsd in the winter. All the details are in the book that I mention (link below).
I tried a few other types and I like these the best. It is also good to keep to only a few crops and really learn them. I'm guilty of making the young-farmer mistake of trying to do too many things at once and not doing any of them all that well. I'm learning, and I've whittled it down to these three lettuces.
