There a million ways to do everything it seems. Withthe way I raise my cornish cross broiler chickens I do not use roosts for them. Perhaps it is something I will experiment with in the future but from what I've learned and experienced so far these birds do just fine raised in the floorless chicken tractors without having a roost to sleep on at night.
