Blood Spots in Chicken Eggs

3.07pm - Wednesday 13th January 2016 48,873

Us chicken growers have all seen it, that little red spot when you crack open an egg. It doesn't always happen, but on occasion they do turn up.

They are blood spots and they happen while the egg is being formed inside the chicken. To avoid having them at all make sure to keep your chickens happy and healthy at all times! To avoid giving them to your customers candle your eggs to see if there is anything inside the egg before putting them in a carton for sale.
