Up until this winter I had 350 apples trees that were about three years old in the orchard. After this winter I will only have 130 left. A total loss of 220 trees.

Having the actual number makes the situation that much worse. But knowledge is power and now I know what I need to fix.

I'm not planning on going out and buying all new trees until I know I can keep the remaining trees safe as well as any new trees that I might get. It was a really unusual year, something you can't necessarily prepare for, but now I know for the future.
