Buying a new bucket is expensive. If you have to do it you only want to do it once. Taking preventative measures to ensure that your bucket keeps performing well and lasts through the years will help you avoid an $1800 bill for a new bucket down the road.
That was the situation that I found myself in where the bucket had been left to rot over the years and it was starting to fall apart. Instead of the $1800 though I had my neighbor weld a new interior on my bucket for much cheaper.
