NOTES:

Money is a tool to keep doing the things that you love. I love raising chickens but understand there an important balance to be struck between passion and obligation.

As of the publishing of this video I have not culled the flock yet. I am weighing the decision against the holistic goal(s) of my farm and what benefit having that many hens brings to the farm.

It is never an easy decision to make on farm when it comes time to assessing the different operations based on what "value" they have. I love seeing my birds every day, but at the same time I have to make the farm financially sustainable.
