Always keeping the big picture in mind when you are making changes on farm helps you plan for the future and make the necessary investments to ensure you can keep farming. If you only struggle with the day to day and let the big picture stuff get out of whack then you will find yourself without a farm.

Viewing your farm as a business and treating it as such is the key to success. Even though you and I are farming because we love it and we want to produce healthy food to feed others, we need to focus on the financial aspects as tools to keep feeding people.
