It can be tough to sell someone on the idea of giving you a big check and not getting anything for a couple of months. Even the best orator could use the help of a few visuals.
As part of my Earth Day Event marketing I will have photos from the farm to show people what I have to offer so they don't have to imagine it themselves. It's right there. This has worked wonders in the past using visuals on my website, not I am adding in photos in person as well.
I intend to carry this over to the Farmers' Market as well. After all, it's hard to sell people on meat unless it's marketed well. Chicken is not that cute in that stage between field and oven. Having the visuals will help tell my story, enforce our model of total transparency, and will be a nice addition to the table.
