Owls Eating Red Rangers at Night

1.29pm - Wednesday 8th July 2015 16,969

Raising red rangers on pasture can be fun but good management is essential. I share my farm story at http://farmmarketingsolutions.com

I found that the owls were only around for about two weeks and then I was good. I had a loss but as the birds got bigger and then stopped getting eaten by owls.

These chicken tractors have been really good for these birds aside from that night-time predation problem. They were essential for catching the birds for processing and were good for shade during the day.

We'll see. My farm is constantly evolving. Subscribe to the channel to follow along so we can grow our farms together.
