NOTES:

Doing a soil test for your hop yard, garden, or pastures is both easy and important. I didn't need a soil test kit, just two shovels and a ziplock bag.

After collecting soil samples from near my rhizomes I sent them to a lab to get tested. The results were shocking, but they get me on the path toward a better hop yard.

We are doing our best to run and organic and sustainable hop yard, but there is a steep learning curve. Having accurate data ensures we are moving forward with educated decisions.
