Everyone's broiler story is going to be different. I time my broiler chicken rotations to fit into my whole farm schedule and work load as well as working what the infrastructure that I currently have available.
I deliver my products frozen primarily. The chickens are stored in freezers after processing and I take the number of chickens out of the freezers each week that I'm going to need for my markets.
There are infinite possible ways to plan your broiler rotations. The take away that I want you to get from this is to make sure you're not going just 100% on the numbers of broilers you think you can raise in one year if you're just starting out. Carefully determine what the work load is going to be and how that balances with your other commitments.
