I used the Seek Thermal camera and app to capture some very interesting footage of my chickens. The video/images tell us a lot about how a chicken manages its' body heat.

It is important to keep your coop well-ventilated but draft free. There is a definite balance there. When raising chickens in the winter it is also important to keep their area really dry. When you start to get moisture build-up that is when you have problems.
