There are many ways that technology is changing farms both big and small. While the hippy in me is all about low tech farming techniques I cannot help but take advantage of what out tech advancements have to offer.

I have used a drone to help me manage my land, I use wifi enabled temperature sensors to keep an eye on my baby chick brooder, and I use a lot of tech when it comes to my record keeping and marketing.

Everything has its' place in the world. It is up to you to determine how much tech you do or do not want to use on your farm. There are free tools out there to make you a better farmer. My final words here would be to tell you to keep an open mind and figure out where some piece of technology can help you be a more successful farmer.
