In today's adventure we are running around on the farm trying to get a bunch of stuff done. Our corn crop is progressing extremely quickly and it is already knee high, which beats the old saying of "knee high by the 4th of July" by a month. We are also fighting wildfire smoke coming from Canada. Overall, our corn looks really good.

On the work side of things, today, we service the JCB skid-loader and bring it over to the farm to get started preparing the new foundation on the $7,000 mansion addition for concrete in the footings. In an effort to do this, we shovel, level, and pack thousands of pounds of rock, built concrete forms, prepare rebar, and do a lot of digging.

On top of getting the new addition ready for concrete, I also order and schedule a load of concrete, check on the status of the concrete forms for the foundation walls, and I work on a special midnight project.
