Your favorite Cornstar has finally aged another year and is the big 22. To celebrate my birthday, Daddy Cornstar and I put a new alternator in the 1981 John Deere 4840. Once we got the John Deere up and running, it was time to load soybeans out of the bean bins. We are on the last of our beans and we only have 3,000 bushels left to sell. We quickly filled Brad with a load of soybeans and sent him on his way. Once Brad left, we quickly filled the carts again and that is when we ran into our first issue. The front pulley on the grain vac decided it was going to go for a ride and fall of the grain vac. Luckily, we were able to salvage the same pulley off an old grain vac we had and were able to continue filling with beans. After we got the carts full, we loaded Ronnie and then called it a night.

The next morning we jumped on fixing the 1991 Case IH 7140 and our older Brent 674 grain cart right away. The hitch on the grain cart needed to be replaced and the latch in the door of the tractor needed to be replaced. These projects were a little time consuming but they needed to be done. Once they were completed, we ran off to fill the grain carts with beans again.

That's when I almost lost my foot. I was changing tubes on the grain vac and I accidentally dropped the tube right by my foot and the greatest suction known to mankind kicked in and sucked my croc right off my foot and it would have pulled me in if I was not careful. My croc was destroyed beyond recognition, but luckily I was okay. Ronnie pulled in soon after and we were able to fill him and then completely clean out the last of our bean bins. We are completely done hauling grain now! The video concludes with Daddy Cornstar narrating me washing the sprayer.
