The video starts with Cooper using the 2005 Bobcat T-190 to move the grates over the grain pits. Then I highlight a few things we got covered that day. It was challenging to film due to the wind in the cold.
Do not worry, this episode contains advice with Daddy Cornstar! Today's topic is farm safety. After the advice, we wrap up the night in the big machine shed, installing support cables.
The next morning, our neighbor had a concrete truck get stuck in his yard so we unhooked the 1981 John Deere 4840 from the Brent 674 grain cart and pulled out the concrete truck. While Dad was there, he gives everyone a birthday present idea for children 3 and under.
Once Dad got back, we got everything ready to go to the field including the Case IH 1020 bean head, then we went to check beans, found they were not ready. We decided to try our luck at our furthest farm and thought they were ready to go. We drove all the equipment over and started harvesting beans. We did not make it very far before we had a breakdown. The shaker pan was not installed correctly. We had to tear apart the back end of the combine, fix the issue, and then put it back together. Once we got going again, the beans were too wet to run so we had to quit.
The video ends with a thank you from Daddy Cornstar.
Thank you for watching!
