Getting kids into education is something I’ve been banging on about for years, I went into an I’ll fitting college into a course that didn’t suit me all because I HAD to just pick something.. literally out of a hat. I never even considered ag as a career and I know now I’m 34 that would have been the way forward and I was even introduced to Myerscough at a young age and STILL didn’t think outside the townie box and consider that farm work was for me. We aren’t even on peoples radars kids don’t consider it AT ALL when deciding options at school without some prior exposure and that’s a crying shame. We should be putting ourselves out there front and centre to try and inspire them even a tiny bit.
