Love this shed, it’s been stables, jersey bull houses a dog home and finally calf housing, it’s not the prettiest but it’s certainly the kindest to the animals. Next year we will take the roof off and reinstate it back to slate to assist with air flow, a friend of ours recommended this as the hot air from the animals rises and escapes through the gaps in the slate and this reduces the risk of pneumonia. All the floors slope to the front and they are really easy to keep dry and clean.

Originally we had a brand new shed in mind for calf rearing but when sitting in here on a boiling hot day you realise it stays cool and regulates temperature really well which is ideal for animals.
