Henry Blain, Head of Livestock, J Sainsburys
Henry is a graduate from Reading University and before joining JS, spent time working at
the Royal Farm in Windsor and then in the agricultural team at Tesco.
He has agreed to come and talk to us at the IAGRM Thames Valley branch about what
the expectation of its farmer suppliers is - now - and going forward – and what can
farmers in return expect from JS.
Henry will also talk about how at JS they see the current and future situation in UK farming
in what is one of the most challenging times seen by the industry since the end of the
Second World War.
In the past, Henry was a member of our branch, he knows the region well - and so this
should be a fascinating talk by him. If you want to attend this event, please email Giles
